Our Teachers

(AKA Boss or Boss Sarah)

 Sarah is our owner/director and resident chef. Although she has level 1 in Early Childhood Education, her background has primarily been in management and marketing.  Sarah opened her first childcare centre in Mt. Uniacke in July 2005 but closed it and focused solely on Brooklyn in 2010. 

(AKA Reynolds, her maiden name) 

Sara is our designate and assistant director and graduated from NSCC with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Sara is a team preschool and pre-primary teacher and has recently returned from maternity leave with her first child. 

(AKA Coonie, kiddos can't say Cohoon) 

Serah has been an Early Childhood Educator at this centre for 10 years and has achieved her level 1 certification. Currently she is one of our team toddler teachers.

Cortney has been an Early Childhood Educator at this centre for over 11 years and has achieved her level 1 certification. Currently she is one of our team preschool teachers teachers. 

Shannon is also a team toddler teacher. We were lucky to have her join our centre after many years of running her own home Kids Academy daycare.

Melissa is our Infant teacher.  She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from NSCC in 2015.  

 Nicole is also a team preschool teacher.  She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from NSCC in 2015.   

Kaitlyn is an NSCC graduate with a diploma in Early Childhood Education.  You will typically find her filling in for the toddler and infant teachers on their days off. 

Alannah is a graduate from NSCC with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and is a team teacher in our preschool / pre-primary classroom.

Darcy  graduated from NSCC with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and is our head after school teacher while Amber is on maternity.

Amber is our most recent NSCC graduate. She graduated with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and is our head after school teacher. Amber recently left on maternity leave, but we are excited for her return in April 2022.
